On Mood in Making Songs

You know what does it mean? Look at the post title! I'm on mood in making songs right now. Actually I never think that I'll make a song[s]. Right now I love to make a song since my beloved music teacher in school (That will be TRANSFERRED to another school-,-) gave us a homework. That was making a song. The theme was free. I mean we can make it with Indonesian language, with free genre, etc. But a song that always in my mind was a CLASSIC song. Slow song, just like Forever Friend and Proud Of You by Fiona Fung. Yeah her songs were inspire me. 

But I made a song with English language, cuz I'm rarely singing Indonesian songs (It doesn't mean that I'm not proud of being indonesian, I'M TRULLY PROUD OF BEING INDONESIAN. You can see the prove from my tweets. My account is full of indonesian tweets, but I've been trained with a classic and english songs since I was 3rd grade with my course teacher). 

I won't tell you the title of the song, cuz I'll use it for Creating the song[s] Competition. Yap, I made my first song when my class was having Indonesian Language subject. We were in the library (Cuz Every Thursday we learn that subject in the library. I don't know the reason but I love when we studied in there. My school's library is very comfortable. It has a TV and very cool).

You know, my first song is not really good, I think. Cuz I'm not a pro, I'm not David Foster, who brings so many famous artists with his song creations. Actually, I want to be a musician. Not ordinary musician, A musician who can create a song by herself. For her own album (AMIN!). But my mom said that I can be just like David Foster, cuz she thinks it's so wonderful and talented if a 12-year-old pre-teen can make a song, in English. 

When I sang my song creatiion in front of my music teacher, she loved it. She said that I have a talent to be a musician. Then she said that I should join Creating the song[s] Competition. It's an owner, you know! My friends loved my song too. She said that the lyrics that I made were so wonderful, and she can't wait to hear I sing. 

Yap, the real thing is: I'm so happy that I can create a song, and I would like to create the next song. A pop song, now. But I'm interested to make a jazz song and I sing it by piano, but my mom said that Jazz piano is so difficult. Only the pro pianists who can play jazz piano. And she's right. I tried I've Got A World On A String by Frank Sinatra (And I love Michael Buble version too) by piano. It was SO DIFFICULT! Thank god that I can sing that song, even that I can't play that song by piano.
