The Greatest Gift Ever, Part 8 (end)

"Never shall I forget the days I spent with you. Continue to be my friend, as you will always find me yours."
- Ludwig van Beethoven
I'm trully disappointed today. I'm back to my home, a.k.a hospital. I think I'll do the surgery next week. I still want to go to the sunflower field with Jazzie.
Actually, last night I feel pain. I think it's because of my liver (Again). I screamed loudly until all people in the same room woke up. Jazzie is the first person that has woken up.
I just read a book that I just bought yesterday.
"Mom?"
"Ya?"
"When can I do the surgery?"
"Are you ready to do it now?"
Oh, difficult desicion.
"What do you think?"
"Yeah, I think you can do it right now." Said Mom. "I'll tell Dr. Simon first."
She cames out.
"Kells?" Asked Jazzie.
"What?"
"Are you sure?"
Actually, no. "I don't know. I wanna get off from this disease right now."
"But I'm afraid if I lost you."
Okay, I'm trully lazy if someone said that.
"Everything will be okay, Jazz. Trust me."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah."
Then, Dr. Simon comes. "Are you sure you wanna do it now?"
"Yeah, I'm sure."
"Alright then." He said. "I'll tell another doctor first." He cames out.
"Kells." Called Mom. "There is an American boy who died an hour ago. Their parents said that they will gave their son's liver to you."
"Really?" I'm trully suprised.
"Yeah!" Said Mom. "Now I'm sure that you can do it, Kells. Then you can do whatever you want. You can enjoy this world whenever you want. It's up to you!"
It means I can eat ice cream and pop corn again.
"I'll always pray for you, Kells!" Said Jazzie. I hope the surgery is really successful, so we can go to the central park together, with Gerald, Lola, and Jeremy!"
Gee, I miss Gerald, Lola and Jeremy.
"By the way, look who's here." Someone came in. I'm trully surprised.
"Gerald? Lola? Jeremy?" Am I dreaming?
"Hi! We're come for you." Gerald smiled. He bought some fruits for me.
"Gee, thanks!" I smiled. "By the way, how about the school? Did Ms. Emily gaves you a permission to come to Norway?"
"Of course!" Said Lola. "You got a shoutout from Ms. Emily."
"Oh." I took the fruits and put on the table. "By the way, how is 9C doing?"
"Yeah, still same." Answered Jeremy. "But it's so bored without you too."
"And more homeworks and exams." Said Lola. "Especially, Physics."
"Physics is trully easy." I said. "I think Biology is harder than Physics."
"Yeah, it's because you're smart!" Shouted Lola.
"Kellen." Suddenly, Dr. Simon came in. "All set up. Are you sure?"
"I'm sure."
"Okay, then."
The nurse pushed my bed into the surgery room.
"Kellen, good luck!" Shouted Jazzie.
Wish me luck.

.......
I woke up. I don't know where am I. The sun is shining. The environment is very clean. I realize that I'm in the sunflower field, just like when Jazzie and I visited. I really love this place.
Something that makes me confused is,
I don't use any wheel chair.
I can walk and I'm very happy.
The sunflower field is more beautiful than I thought.
I'm alone in there, in the sunflower field. And I'm bored too, 'cause I just played alone. I sit below the tree and look to the sky.
I wish Jazzie in here.
Then, suddenly, a boy comes to me and sitting beside of me. "Hey." He said.
"Oh, hey." I looked at him. He just like me, formal. But I think he's taller than me. "Kellen."
"Brand." He shake his hand. "What are you doing here?"
"I don't know." I took the small flower that is close to me. "I think I'm sleeping, then when I woke up, I'm in here."
"Me neither." Said Brand. "I'm already died."
"Oh my god."
"Yeah." He said. "Because I have a terrible accident."
I remember the boy that Mom told me.
"Hey, and actually, I'm the boy that gaves the liver for you." Really?
I don't know what I have to say. "Thanks."
"No worries." Said Brand. "You're lucky you're still alive."
"Umm.. I don't know about that." I answered. "I remember that I'm in the surgery room and do the liver transplant."
"You must be very lucky."
I confused. "For what?"
He just smiled. "I mean, look at you. I'm sure that everyone are loving you. They won't let you go." Okay, now I'm really confused.
"But me.." He said. "No one cares about me. Even my own big family. The only person that still care of me is my mom."
"Oh, I'm sorry."
"That's okay." He said.

It's been 7 hours I'm in the sunflower field with Brand, and I don't know what we are doing.
"Kells?"
"Ya?"
"You miss your family?"
I'm pretty sad to hear it. "Yes."
"You should go home."
"I don't know where am I, and I don't know how can I go home." I said.
"You have to wait first." Said Brand. "You have to wait until someone call your name. Then you can go home."
"What about you?"
"Hey, this is my house right now. My tasks are done in the world."
Yeah, he's right.
I wanna call by use my cell phone, but when I hold my pocket, there is no cell phone. I think I'm stucked in here.
"Brand?"
"What?"
"Seriously, I wanna go home." I said. "I'm waiting someone to call me."
"Just be patient." Said Brand. He played around the sunflower field.
If someone didn't call me, that means I'm die?
Okay, now I'm afraid about that.
"Oh, one more!"
"What?"
"If you hear another sound or another conversation, except our conversation, you may go home." Said Brand.
"How?"
"Just close your eyes." Answered him. "Easy, don't you?"
"Yeah."

You know what? 15 minutes later, I heard a conversation. And you know? One of the voice is really same is Jazzie. Good sign!
"I heard a sound!" Shouted me. He smiled. "You may go home."
"But, what about you?"
"It's my destiny that I'll live in here." Said Brand. "It's nice to meet you, Kells."
"Nice to meet you too."

I closed my eyes.
I opened, and I realize I'm in the hospital.
I'm really tired.
"Kells?" Said Jazzie. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine." I said. Wait- there's something wrong right now. I feel I'm really okay. I feel that I don't have liver disease anyomore. Is that a good sign?
"You're sleeping so long." Said Jazzie. "I'm worried about you."
"I'm okay, right?"
"Yeah, you are." She smiled. Suddenly, I remembered Brand. Poor boy.
Goodbye, Brand. I hope we can meet in another time. He's a good boy.

I talked with my best friends. And suddenly, Mom came in and she cried.
Oh, dear. What's going on?
"Kells!" She hugged me. I'm confused (Again). "Mom, what's wrong?"
She still cried. Okay, I'm worried right now.
"Kellen, you're officially recover from liver disease." Said Dr. Simon. Really? I am?
"Dr. Simon, are you kidding me?"
"Serious." Dr. Simon smiled. "I'm glad you're now saved."
I wanna cry. I'm free. I'm free!
"Kellen!" Shouted Jazzie. She hugged me. "Thank god you're saved!"
I looked at Gerald, Lola and Jeremy. They all cried. "Kellen, congratulations!" Shouted Gerald.
I'll never forget this moment in my life.

But actually, I still have to use the wheel chair. Dr. Simon said that I could walk normally again if I learned how to walk.
Before go back to America, I wanna say thank you to Brand's parents.
"Thank you so much for giving Brand's liver for me. I really appreciate it."
"You're welcome." Said Brand's mom. "I'm glad you're now saved."
I smiled. I'm very glad that I'm back to my real house- America. I can't wait to tell to Ms. Emily.

"Hey, Kells." Said Gerald.
"Ya?"
"Do you want to celebrate it?"
I smiled. "Yeah!"

America.
I came home in the morning. I'm trully glad. Then I'll go to school.
I'm confused when I came in to 9C, everybody's cheer me up. I think someone has told to everyone that the surgery is successful.
"Kellen!" Ms. Emily hugged me. "Congratulations, my dear!"
"Thank you, Ms. Emily." I smiled.
"Okay, then. Let's get party!" Shouted Jazzie. I'm surprised when I saw so many foods on the table. I took my favorite foods- Pop corn and ice cream. I'm very happy today.
Suddenly, Jazzie pushed my wheel chair to came out from the class.
"Jazz, what are you doing?"
She smiled. "Look, I now we're so long to be friends. And I think it's the time."
Okay, there's something wrong right now.
"Kells, do you wanna date with me?"
I can't believe that she said. I now, my parents didn't allowed me to have a date with someone, except Jazzie.
"Of course I want."
She smiled, and pushed my wheel chair again and go back to class.

Friends, I'm very happy that I'm saved from liver transplant. I can't do anything without my parents, my best friends, and of course my new girlfriend, Jazzie.

The Greatest Gift Ever, Part 7

"Mom?"
"Yes?"
"Can we visit some cool places in Norway?"
"Later, honey."
"Not cool."
Mom laughed.
"What place that you want to go, Kells?" Asked Jazzie.
"Umm, I don't know. What about you?"
"I wanna go to sunflower fields." Said her. "I'm sunflower addicted. Have you seen my bedroom?"
"Of course I never go to your room before, 'cause I never come to your house."
She turned on her cell phone. "New text message for you, Kells."
I took her cell phone, and yes- Gerald texted me again.
"Hey dudeeey, wazzup? How are you doin' there?"
I replied him.
"Umm, nothing. I don't know what I want to do, but Jazzie told me that she wants to visit sunflower fields."
Five minutes later:
"Sunflower fields? Oh, I know it! There's a sunflower field in Norway, but I don't know where it is."
Damn!
"Not Cool, Gerald. I'm serious."
Then:
"Hey, I'm serious too! I forgot the place. By the way, when you want to do the surgery?"
Okay:
"I think the day after tomorrow, or it will be next week. Wish me luck, Gerald."
Then:
"Ooookay, Kells. Have fun with Jazzie! Please say hi to her. Bye~"
"You got a shoutout." I said. Jazzie smiled. "Let me guess. Gerald?"
"Uh uh."
"He likes me, Kells." She said. I shocked. "How do you know?"
"Well, he never tells to me, but I think he likes me. He always texted me everyday."
"Oh."

"Okay, kids. Do you want to go to somewhere?" Asked mom.
"Yes, I want." I answered. "I'm bored right now."
"Don't worry. I know what's the place that you two want to go."
I smiled to Jazzie. She smiled to me.

And finally, we went to sunflower field, just like Jazzie wants. And you know? The sunflower field that we visited is So wonderful! They're the beautiful flower.
"My grandmother said that this is the perfect place to make a wish."
Make a wish? Wonderful.
"Why don't you make a wish?" I asked.
"I'm making right now, and nobody knows it." She smiled. "You too, Kells! Make a wish."

What wish?
I'm not good at making some wishes. I brought a piece of paper and a pen, then started to write.
God, I wish I could start again from when I was born. Enjoy my life as long as I can. If my life is almost over,Please don't make people cried because of me, 'cause I can't stand to see that.If my life is almost over,Please gimme a few minutes to say sorry to everybody. To people that has been sick because of me.I wish,I can do the surgery, so I can enjoy the world in longer time. To be nice with people. And if I'm get off from my liver disease,I'm going to entertain another patient in the hospital that has the same disease like me.To make them happy.God, I know you hear me. Sincerly,Kellen.
We were playing on the field. And you know? Playing on the sunflower field is wonderful. We always took the photos, and have fun in there. We went to a small restaurant with some delicious food in there. And I really-really love it.

And suddenly, I think about something.
Something that makes me stressed.
"Kells?" Asked Jazzie.
"Ya?"
"Are you okay?" Asked her. "You don't feel happy. Are you okay?"
Actually, I'm thinking about my wish that I made.
"Umm, I'm okay." I'm trying to smiled. She looked at the paper that I hold.
"What's that?"
"Oh, it's my wishlist."
She smiled. "I see. Then, let's make the wish grant!"
"How?" I asked.
She smiled again. "By flying the paper."
"How?"
"I brought some ballons." She said. "I always do that when I'm still in elementary. Grant the wish by flying it with ballons."
"Sounds interesting." I said. "Let's begin."
"Okay, then."
She took the ballons and trying to blew it, with little help from dad.
"Okay, Kells. Ballons are ready." She said. "Let's tie your paper."
I tied my paper on the rope.
I hope my wishes are really granted.
"Look, they're flying." Jazzie looked to the sky.

I hope I can enjoy this time, once again.
