blue lake

Wew have I been MIA for more than a half year?

So I've got to tell you what happened in past half year, where I didn't even check out my own blog (though I guess I was "enjoying" my time as an eleventh grader which has much more school work and stuff).

In fact, nothing special happened.

Unless on Teacher's Day in November 25th where all of the students (as usual) in my school gave a big surprise for all teachers. Then we sang Hymne Guru and little bit speech and so on. Quite fun, actually, and I keep the photos and videos that I think I'll start editing it so I can upload it on Youtube. If it is possible. (school work, duh)

And I realize that I start focusing myself on academic much more intensively. Though my grades are improved, but you can't imagine how stressed I was in the first semester to get a good score. But, with that kind of stress I think I have improved my own skills on something that I didn't really master.

Just say that I wasn't a really good presenter in the class. I think it's because I was hoping a good score so I tried myself to be a good presenter. It worked tho. :) and after that I don't present by reading all the materials in my power point. Even sometimes I still feel nervous before getting in front of the class. But believe me, I'm eager to try again and again.

Like my last task in LIA before I pass High Intermediate - 4. We're expected to make an essay about anything we like and we'll present it in front of our classmates and some of HI - 4 teachers. And some of the audiences will ask some questions about our essay and so on. So it'll be like a small council. The first time I practiced in front of the class was kind of a nightmare for me, though I hadn't presented something in full English about something that I master and I should improve my presentation in case I forget. My teacher taught me that I was like speaking on my own since I talked too fast and in low voice.

(I actually had presented in full English before in LIA. But I just memorize what I wrote without knowing or mastering any of my writing in English Class at school and my teacher mostly pays attention with our grammar beside the topic of our essay, and I know that I still have a really bad grammar)

And you know I have more essays to do at school; like making a review of a movie that I've watched. Review a movie means review everything I watched; the plot, the acting, the composition, plus-minus, the production, and the differences when compared to other movies that are almost the same. I reviwed Big Eyes because I just watched it a couple weeks ago on TV and I compared it with The Danish Girl. It took three pages for the review and I didn't believe it at first; I'm afraid it's way too long and I'm afraid for the bad grammar.

(Reviewing a movie is an Indonesian task btw, and I've got to say that I'm worse in Indonesian than English and I think that Indonesian grammar is way harder than English. I don't know about the others. Technically it's hard for me to get above 90 in Indonesian)

Well I guess I'm done with telling about my school task and activities. Most of my activities in the first semester were so-so; nothing special but nothing bad too. I'm eager to tell about my holiday in July!

(wew, it's half a year ago)

So my family went overseas to Banjarmasin, three days after Idul Fitri, a week before school started. And how I really missed staying at my grandma's, having a sleepover with my cousins, playing games with my bros, and of course - exploring Banjarmasin!

On the third day in Banjarmasin, we set up a plan for visiting one of Banjarmasin's tourists destinations: Danau Biru, Pengaron, Banjarmasin.

the lake was actually place for digging coal, so I'm pretty sure that the lake contains kind of chemicals and minerals. But it makes the lake beautiful. TIP: if would be better if you go there with jeep or kind of manual cars

well I'm hoping that we can have other trip on the next holiday. :)

trilogiis29 goes to jogja

Hello people! So it has been June, I've done my exams, and I'm going to take my report book on Saturday, aaaaand welcome Summer--Er, I mean, welcome Ramadhan. :)

So this year my school decided to have a study tour to Jogja and Solo. It was held to develop our knowledge, especially in Indonesian History, Geography, Sociology, Economics and also Chemisrty (for the science class) subjects. And where did we visit for the past five days?

Several days before the study tour, I had decided that I'd make a new project after Aixtion Goes to Puncak movie documentary (I've finished creating the movie and I need to ask my 9th grade classmates a permission If I could upload the vids). So I asked my dad if I could bring my camera, and then he said yes, and I was too excited when I heard that (I really was), then, it was the day.

DAY ONE
On the first day (March 10th) we left our hometown at six, and since that morning I was ready for recording something funny that happened in the bus, It took almost a day to our hotel and what I did was just listening to my iPod.

the view when we were on the way to jogja

DAY TWO
We visited Sangiran Museum--it's a place where hominids were mostly found. You will find the fossils and everything related to the pre-history.

DAY THREE
Went shopping at Malioboro and visited Ratu Boko Temple (which needed much energy to get there bc it is located in the highland). In the afternoon we headed to Pentingsari Village, where we had home stay

DAY FOUR
Our last day in Pentingsari Village! We took a walk in the morning and we had got great views there, including Mt. Merapi. Then, we had shopping at bakpia store (which I forget the name) and went to Soeharto Museum before we went home.

2014 random photographs using iphone

Hey fellas! I know it has been long time I've been missing from the internet. I've spent the whole five months (I guess?) to enjoy the high school I attend. As you know aku masuk ke kelas ilmu sosial, alias IIS disebutnya sekarang. And high school is definitely different from junior high. Aku pulang sore terus, aku jadi lebih aktif di ekskul (by the way I signed myself to join theater club and choir, but not longer I quit from theater, so right now just choir), dan waktu buat online atau baca udah berkurang (also because I often buy magazines instead of books right now), daaan lebih punya banyak waktu bareng temen-temen.

So, the 2014 is almost over and I'd like to share you some of my photographs in 2014. Before that I often took photographs using my Nikon D3100, and meanwhile I sometimes took some using iPhone, because I'm not always carrying my camera during travelling and I wanted to have a quick photograph so that I could share it at the same day on instagram or any other social medias.

Here are my best shots taken by my iPhone.

EKLIPTIKA 2014, April 26th

It was a theme of the 1 Senior High School's art event. It tells about how we bring the name of Indonesia to the world.

WEDNESDAY MORNING IN PUNCAK, June 4rd (aixtion goes to puncak)

So some of my friends and I decided to go on foot, exploring Puncak in the morning. We walked to the top until went back to the villa at around 9.00 AM and it was still cold outside. The higher we went, the closer the mountain looked and it was extremely breath-taking.

ONE MEETING LEFT AT LIA, December 4th

I attend English course at LIA, near my house and it was rainy. When the rain stops, the sky turned colorful and I thought it was very beautiful, so I asked a permission to my English teacher if I could took it.

WAKAI, July 20th

Wakai shoes store was opened recently that month at a mall in my hometown, and my father decided to take a look and bought each of us (me and my sister) a pair of Wakai shoes. There's the thing that I like about the store beside the shoes: the interior. I love the way they decorated the store. Several photos were put on the brick wall and they hung some flags.

THE STAGE, March 12th

Here's the thing that only few people (even few friends of mine) know: my sister and I had been a contestant of 2014 Indonesia's Got Talent. We were auditioned until the last step: the main stage with the main juries, which was held at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. We got four No's, from 4 main juries, so we didn't make it. I'm hoping that this could be our great experience.

ETHNIC 2014, November 1st

Ethnic (Explore The Hidden Nirvana of Indonesian Culture) was a theme of my high school's event for this year. It presented how beautiful, unique and exotic our culture is. There were many collaborations within several extracurriculars, and mine (which is choir group) was collaborated with the theater club's performance. We were the soundtrack of the play, and our guest stars were Flash Escape and The Changcuters!

I haven't taken something interesting with my phone, and I hope I could get more and better photographs later. Dan berhubung SD Card aku lagi error, aku bener-bener enggak tau harus nge-post foto apa but photographs from my phone. Sebelumnya aku emang lebih sering foto pakai hape (since my phone was still blackberry tho) tapi setelah dibeliin kamera, aku mulai jarang foto pakai hape. But I think I could have some experiments with my photos that were taken by my phone.

See you on the next post. :)

puncak day 3 with aixtion

Hey fellas! Sorry I've been absent for a week (or more?)... Aku ngurusin macem-macem buat SMA, seperti bahan buat MOPD, sanlat, tes akademik dan psikotes buat nentuin kita masuk jurusan mana. At first I really want to go to social studies class, karena entah kenapa aku lebih menonjol di IPS daripada IPA, padahal minatku 50-50 haha. Tapi sebenarnya enggak masalah aku masuk IPA juga, soalnya aku milih desain grafis pas kuliah nanti, karena dari jurusan manapun bisa masuk.
Dari post yang sebelumnya, aku bilang bakal ngelanjutin hari ke-2 aku di puncak, dan maaf aku harus ngeskip hari kedua... because I'm lack of photos (but more videos) and we didn't go anywhere, jadi langsung ke day 3-nya! Aku lagi bikin video puncak day 2 dan Insya Allah selesai, tapi enggak tau bakal di upload ke YouTube atau enggak.....

So here it is!

On day 3 (which was Wednesday) we went to Taman Bunga Nusantara before we went back to Depok. It is a flower park that is located at Mariwati Street, KM 7 Kawungluwuk Village, Cianjur, West Java. It contains water park, rose park, french park, labyrinth, Bali park, Mediterania park, palm park (which has many palm trees) and japan park. Here you can see many flowers from all around the world.

Sebenarnya enggak banyak disini... paling macam-macam bunga, terus ada arena games-nya.. Tapi Taman Bunga Nusantara ini cocok banget buat foto-foto, apalagi foto loncat hahaha.

btw if you have recommended places (especially in Indonesia) don't forget to comment below!
