The Greatest Gift Ever, Part 4

Saturday.
I woke up this morning with a good mood. Yeah, I'm ready to start the day.

But- wait, I think there's something wrong.
I'm okay right now and I'm feel better.
I can't move my leg.

I'm panic. Lil bit panic. So panic. Ordinary panic. Extraordinary panic. ABSELOUTLY PANIC!
"Mom, dad!" I shouted.
"What's up, dear?" Asked mom.
"Can you come and meet me?"

Then mom go upstairs. "What's wrong?"
"I can't move my leg."
She quiet. I think she doesn't know what she have to say.
"You're kidding, right?" Laughed mom.
"No, I'm not." I said. "Seriously, mom. I can't."
"Try to walk." Suggested mom. I tried to stand up, but I can't. Fall off.
"Mom, help me." I said.
"Okay, okay." Said mom. She helped me to stand up again. "Okay, we have to go to the hospital."
"Mom, please, no." I plead. "I don't want to use wheel chair all time. I don't want to."
"But you have to!" Said mom. "I'll call your dad and we're going to go to the hospital."
Nightmare.

...
In the hospital.
"Mr. and Mrs. McCorrell, come inside." Call the nurse. "You too, Kellen McCorrell."
I stand up with little help from mom.
"Hi, Kells." Dr. Simon greet me. "Hi, Dr. Simon." I smiled.
"Please sit." Said him. Dr. Simon started to talk.

"I don't mean to say this, Mr. And Mrs. McCorrell." Said Dr. Simon. "Nerve in his leg died suddenly."
"Is that the one of the factor of his disease?" Ask mom worried.
"We're still analyzing." Said Dr. Simon. I'm pretty shocked when I heard that. God gaves me short age is enough for me, but Why I have to use a wheel chair all time? I hate to do that. I'm not free to move.
"Phil.." Mom cried on dad's shoulder. "We have to accept this situation, Jean."
Suddenly, I cried. Dr. Simon looked at me.
"You're a great fighter, Kells." Said Dr. Simon. "I'm sure you can handle this."
But I'm not sure.

So, I went home with a wheel chair. I mean, the self-controled wheel chair. It's pretty high.
"Kells, where do you want to go?" Asked mom.
"Watering the plants." I said. "May I?"
"Okay, but be careful. You need an adaptation to use your wheel chair." Said mom.
Actually, I didn't need this thingy. I want to walk and stand normally like a normal people.
The thing that I worried about is: Jazzie. I don't want to see her face is crying because of me. I don't like people cyring because of me.
I want to show everyone that I'm still strong to face my situation.

Sunday.
Yesterday, my parents moved my bedroom into downstairs, So I don't have to go upstairs. 'Cause (I'm sure You have known the reason).
Then, the bell is ringing.
That means that we'll have a guest. I 'walked' and open the door.
"Good morning." The stranger said.
"Hi." Greet me. "Who are you?"
"I'm Jackerson, your dad's friend."
"Oh." I said.
Mr. Jackerson smiled. "Are you Kellen McCorrell?"
"Yes." I said. "Come in."
"Last time I saw you, you didn't use any wheel chair." Said Mr. Jackerson.
"Actually, yesterday my Nerve in my leg died suddenly." I said. "By the way, would you like some syrup? Or tea? I can make it."
"I just need some water." Said Mr. Jackerson. "I'm not be long in here."
"That's okay." I said.
"Hey, I wanna ask you something." Said Mr. Jackerson. "What do you like to do when you don't have any schedule?"
"Yeah, cooking." I answered. "Sometimes I visit my blog."
"You have a blog?" Ask Mr. Jackerson.
"Yes, I have. Do you want me to show it? I'll take my laptop."
I go to my bedroom and took my laptop.
"Here." I said. "Lemme show you."
I turn on the laptop and open 'settings' window to connect to the internet.
"This is my blog." I said. "Too messy, right?"
"Not really." Said Mr. Jackerson. "That's lovely. Did you make your own classic template?"
"Yes, I am." I smiled. "I love to make a template."
"Cool." Said Mr. Jackerson. "You said that You love to cook, right?"
"Yes, I am." I said and go to the kitchen. "I'll make a cookies for you."
"Thank you, Kellen." Mr. Jackerson smiled. He looked at me. I smiled. I took the ingridients and turn on tehe mixture.
"This is my favorite recipe." I said. "Because It's so easy to make it."
"You make the recipe?" Asked Mr. Jackerson.
"Yes, I made this."
I started to cook.

"Hey, Jack!" Greet dad.
"Dad, we're waiting so long." I said. Dad laughed.
"Not really, Phil." Said Mr. Jackerson.
I looked at the window. I really want to watering the plants agian.
"Mom, can I watering the plants again?" Asked me.
"Okay." Mom smiled.
"What about If I saw my friends are jogging together, Can I join them?"
"Okay, okay." Laughed mom. "If the cookies are ready to be served, I'll call you. You can bring the cookies."
"Okay."
I go out and started to watering the plants.
Suddenly, Jazzie came.
"Morning, Kells!" Shout her. "Hi! What are you doing?"
"Watering the plants." I answered. Then, Jazzie looked at me.
"What's wrong, Jazz?"
"The wheel chair." Said Jazzie. "What happened with you?"
I looked at Jazzie's eyes. I'm afraid if she started to cry.
"I'm okay, Jazz. Don't worry." I said. "There's nothing bad happen with me."
Jazzie smiled. "Are you sure?"
"I'm sure, Jazz." I said.
"Promise?" Asked Jazzie. I smiled. "Promise."

Then we're walking together.
"Where's others?" Asked me.
"Of course in their house. Let's go." Said Jazzie. She ran.
"Okay." I smiled.

Well, You know? Use wheel chair is not a bad idea. I need that thingy.
I really have so much time together with Jazzie Megan!
